This page explains some terminology frequently used in the Arctic Core community.

Arctic Core Users

A User is anyone who develops software components that runs on the Arctic Core platform. To find documentation related to users look under the Using Arctic Core section on the main wiki page.

We recommend that users work against the arc-stable repository, http://arccore.com/hg/arc-stable.

Arctic Core Developers

A Developer is anyone who develops changes or additions to the Arctic Core platform itself. Documentation realted to development of Arctic Core can be found in the Developing Arctic Core section on the main wiki page.

Development of Arctic Core takes place in the arc repository, http://arccore.com/hg/arc.

Arctic Core Gatekeeper

The Gatekeeper is responsible for managing the Arctic Core code repositories. Before a change can be merged into the repository the code has to be reviewed and accepted by the Gatekeeper.
