Reporting Bugs/Bugfixes

Issue tracking
Users that have been give access right can report bugs directly into the issuse tracking system at trac system. Please fill out as many fields as possible when creating a ticket.
- Milestone should be set to when the fix can be realistically integrated and tested for release into arc-stable.
- Version should contain the latest and most 'public' version in which the problem exists. Choices are (in order of decreasing 'publicicity'):
- released versions of arc-stable
- integration branch arc#default
- development branches arc#xx
- Issues found on development branches in the arc repo should be reported with care if the reporter does not have information about the intended development roadmap for that specific branch
- If possible, please check if an issue is present in older versions as well. If so, please report these in the ticket comments.
Bugfixes
- Fixes can be
1 attached as a patch file to a trac ticket.
- When this is done, set the ticket status to pending by choosing the action review to gatekeeper.
- Please make sure that the patch is a proper hg patch, or that parent changeset, user et.c. is available in some other way
- When fixes have been integrated into arc#default and released into arc-stable the gatekeeper will close the ticket.
