Installing Arctic Studio Tutorial
From Arctic Core - the open source AUTOSAR embedded platform
Download Arctic Studio and unzip the file. Place the Arctic Studio folder in a path that does NOT contain any spaces! To run Arctic Studio you need a Java runtime environment installed (JRE), at least java 5.
The install contains
- A complete C development environment based on the Eclipse CDT
- A build environment based on MSYS
- Mercurial
Furthermore the compilers that you want to use need to be installed. This is done by installing one or more Core Builders:
- In the "Help" menu, click "Install New Software..."
- Next to "Work with:" chose "Arctic Studio Update Site"
- Check the Core Builders that you need and click next to contine.
- Follow the rest of the dialogs, clicking next and finish. Restart Arctic Studio once the install is complete.
After installing continue with the Quick-start Tutorial to get on the way developing.
